In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • A man reported items stolen Wednesday in the 1600 block of Brenner Avenue.
  • A woman reported a larceny Wednesday in the 700 block of Faith Road.
  • Police seized drug paraphernalia Thursday in the 700 block of Sout Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
  • Police seized drug paraphernalia Thursday in the 300 block of East Innes Street.
  • A man reported an assault Thursday in the 700 block of Park Avenue.
  • Charlotte Chastity Chilar-teets, 35, was charged Friday with assault and battery or affray.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • Deputies seized marijuana Thursday in the 3600 block of South Main Street.
  • A man reported items stolen Thursday in the 1100 block of Wetmore Road, Woodleaf.
  • Virgil Naseer Winfield, 20, was charged Thursday with possession of a Scheduled VI controlled substance.
  • Carla Michelle Bryant, 31, was charged Thursday with second-degree trespass.
  • Dusty Jackson Bryant, 35, was charged Thursday with assault by pointing a gun.
  • Jamey Lynn Downey, 28, was charged Thursday with possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • James Gregory Sapp, 30, was charged Thursday with possessing a stolen firearm.
  • Clayton Ray Cox, 17, was charged Thursday with possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance.
  • Rebecca Ann Blackerby, 30, was charged Thursday with simple assault.
  • Rodney Craig Edwards, 51, was charged Thursday with felony breaking and entering.
