SALISBURY — No students were injured Tuesday when a school bus was involved in an early-morning collision at the intersection of Jake Alexander Boulevard and Mooresville Road, fire officials said.

The crash occurred just before 6:30 a.m. and resulted in minor injuries for a pickup driver. The three people who were on the school bus were not injured.

Salisbury fire officials said the road was temporarily closed so the truck could be towed from the scene. The bus was driven from the scene.
