SALISBURY — Sacred Heart Catholic School eighth-graders partnered with Rowan Helping Ministries recently to help package more than 250 backpack bags of food for needy school children.
As part of their daily lessons, their students learn to serve their neighbors, community and nation. These lessons are essential and support the school’s mission statement “to develop each student spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially, so that each is prepared to live and serve in a changing society as a self-respecting and responsible citizen.”
