Rowan weather: Cold start, but warming up

A cold start this morning, with fogged or icy windshields in some places.

It will be a sunny day, and a a bit warmer, with a high of 62. West northwest wind will be at 5-9 mph.

Tonight will be clear and cold again, with a low of 32 and north wind at 3-5 mph.

Friday will be sunny and 57, with light and variable wind. Friday night will be partly cloudy and 38, with south southwest wind around 5 mph after midnight.

Saturday brings a 30 percent of showers, mainly after 4 p.m. It will be partly sunny and 62, with south southwest wind at 5-15 mph. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Showers are likely Saturday night, with a 60 percent chance of rain. It will be mostly cloudy and 42.

But the sun returns Sunday, with a high of 53. It will be a cold and clear night with a low of 28.

Monday will be sunny and 52, with a low of 30.

Tuesday, for the Southern Rowan Christmas Parade, it will be mostly sunny and 57, with a less cold low of 38.

And Wednesday should be mostly sunny and 58, not bad for the Holiday Caravan Parade.
