The golfing community of Rowan came together on Nov. 11 at Corbin Hills Golf Club to celebrate the Seventh “Golfing for Debbie” Tournament.

Debbie Barrier Plummer lost her battle with cancer and, to honor her spirit and passion for life, the fundraiser continues. Proceeds each year will help families battling cancer with medical expenses.

Corporate sponsors  Corbin Hills, R.H. Barringer,  Carolina Golf Trail and Orrell Food help offset costs of the tournament. Thanks to everyone who  played and donated.

The winner each year is the loving and caring spirit everyone takes to their community for their daily life.
