Military officers group honors caterer Debbie Suggs

SALISBURY — During the Military Officers Association of America meeting Monday at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, members of the local Central Carolina Chapter recognized caterer Debbie Suggs for her outstanding service and dedication to the veterans of Rowan County.
Suggs has been a faithful supporter of many Rowan County veterans groups, serving meals for their meetings and for military observances.
She has been serving the local MOAA chapter for over a decade.
In addition to providing tasty and bountiful food for veterans, Suggs donates detailed wood carvings of military insignias, handmade by her family, to veterans groups, according to the chapter.
