Tyro UMC Women of Hope

Date: Nov. 18,  8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Location: 4484 S. Hwy 150, Lexington, in the Tyro community

Features: Crafts, home décor, handmade purses, tote bags, aprons, jewelry, Christmas decorations, stepping stones, baked and canned goods, frozen entrees and casseroles, fried apple pies, and new to you

Menu: Biscuits, coffee, juice for breakfast; famous Tyro United Methodist Men’s BBQ sandwiches, shoulders, specials at 9 am. Eat in or take out. Homemade chicken pies at 8:30 a.m.

Midway United Methodist Church

Date: Nov. 18, 8 a.m.-noon

Location: 708 South Main St., Kannapolis

Features: Baked goods, crafts, vendors, raffles

Menu: Country ham biscuits

Proceeds benefit: United Methodist Women’s Missions

Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith

Date: Nov. 18,  8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Location: 100 S. Main St., Faith

Features: Homemade baked goods, crafts, frozen chicken pies and casseroles. Canned vegetable soup. Local vendors and other handmade items.

Menu: 8-11 a.m. Country ham biscuits for sale. 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Port-a-Pit chicken cooked on site, with baked beans, slaw, bread, dessert. Eat in or carry out, $9/plate, drink included for eat in.

Proceeds benefit: Missions of the church.

Oakdale Baptist Church

Date:  Nov. 18, 10 a.m. -2 p.m.

Location:  200 Charles St., Spencer

Features: 20+ vendors, handmade crafts, homemade baked items, $1 a ticket raffle for numerous handmade items

Menu: Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, chips and drink

Proceeds: Lottie Moon International Mission Offering
