Rowan weather: Wetter, cooler

Here comes change. Today will likely be wet, with an 80 percent chance of rain, including a chance of thunderstorms.

The high will be 64, with east winds at 5-7 mph. A front could trigger severe storms, with heavy rain, frequent lightning and damaging winds.

Expect patchy fog this afternoon. Rainfall will be a tenth to quarter inch, except higher in storms.

Tonight’s chance of rain is 60 percent, with north northeast wind at 9-11 mph. Thunderstorms are possible before 9, followed by rain. Patchy fog will form, and it will be cloudy, with a low of 46. Another tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.

Wednesday will have patchy morning fog and a 50 percent chance of rain. It will be cloudy and 49, with northeast winds at 7-10 mph.

The chance of rain goes down to 40 percent Wednesday night. It will be cloudy and 43, with north northeast wind at 3-7 mph.

Even Thursday has a 30 percent chance of rain in the morning. It will be mostly cloudy and 57, with north northeast wind at 3-6 mph. Thursday night will be partly cloudy and cold, with a low of 39.

Friday, though, should be sunny and 57, with a low below freezing, at 31 degrees.

Veterans Day will be mostly sunny and 50, a good day for the parade. The low will be 35.

Sunday brings back a 30 percent chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy and 52. The low will be 38, still with a 30 percent chance of showers.
