Landis: ‘Municipal elections are always slow’

As of 1:55 p.m., 193 people have voted in the Landis municipal election.
The candidates for the Board of Alderman are Bobby G. Brown, Roger Dale Safrit, Dorland Abernathy and Tony B. Corriher.
The four candidates were campaigning outside for the two open spots on the board.
Chief Judge Ron Riddle said, “Municipal elections are always slow, but the flow has been steady throughout the day.”
The polls opened at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. today.
