Letter: How I view Rowan County and the United Way

Published 10:32 am Friday, November 3, 2017

We are a community that works together. Rowan County United Way is a “roll up your sleeves and pitch in” kind of place. We are looking for your help — asking you to join us this year. Your United Way fights for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in Rowan County. Supporting United Way will strengthen this fight for a better life for all in our local communities.

Your donation to Rowan County United Way is actually worth more than the amount you give. With our connections across all sectors — nonprofits, businesses and government — we make money go further by securing in-kind donations, mobilizing our volunteer networks and working with partners to get the most out of every cent you give. Join others passionate about improving Rowan County and see the exponential strength of collective impact work.

Please join us. Your involvement makes the difference.

Perhaps you may be in need yourself. Please don’t hesitate to let United Way know how we can help, serve, and connect with you as well.
