Letter: Doing right thing
Al Heggins receives my endorsement for Salisbury City Council because she is a trusted friend and colleague.
Am I biased? Yes. Why? Because I’ve observed her behavior over time and she is a person who consistently delivers. What does she deliver? Love, compassion, integrity, a driving concern for doing the right thing and results that help build community.
When you greet Al, you’ve greeted a friend even when it’s the first time you’ve met her. She has a welcoming and affirming personality that is immediately noticeable.
If you are meeting her because there is a concern that needs to be addressed, you’ve got the right one. If she doesn’t have an immediate answer it doesn’t matter. She understands problem solving and knows how to navigate systems. Trust me, with Al, help is on the way.
There is no more fit person for leadership in local government. She has the skill set and she has the will set necessary to get good done!
