SALISBURY — Salisbury residents can meet and speak with candidates for the City Council from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Salisbury-Rowan Farmers Market.

The market is at West Fisher and South Jackson streets, across from Rowan Public Library. Election Day is Tuesday.

An invitation was extended to all candidates to attend and meet voters during the weekly Farmers Market. Nine candidates have indicated they will attend.
