SALISBURY — A Veterans Appreciation Lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Harold B. Jarrett American Legion Post 342, 1024 Lincolnton Road.

The free lunch for military veterans is sponsored by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, the Rowan County Register of Deeds Office, and Powles Staton Funeral Home of Rockwell.
