My husband and I have had the pleasure of knowing Salisbury City Council candidate Rodney Queen and his family for many years.

Throughout this time, we have always found Rodney to be a true Southern gentleman of extremely high character.

He has been a dedicated public servant and has served our city well as a member and chairman of our Salisbury Planning Board. In addition, he has also served our community as a member of the Salisbury Housing Advocacy Committee, Zoning Board, Alternate methods of Design Committee, as well as numerous other boards and commissions.

In our opinion, Rodney will make an excellent member of our Salisbury City Council. We have always found him to be very honest, ethical, and fair in his business, professional and personal relationships.

More importantly, Rodney is a Vietnam veteran and has voiced his support for our new Rowan County Vietnam Veterans Memorial and other veterans’ programs in our community.
