Dry Earns Eagle Award

The parents of Robert Julian “Trey” Dry III  are proud to announce his accomplishment of Eagle Scout. He is receiving his Eagle Scout Award today, Oct. 29, 2017 at Grace Lowerstone Church of Rockwell.

Trey is a senior at East Rowan High School. He is the son of Dana Dry of Rockwell and Rob Dry of Granite Quarry. Trey began his Cub Scouting as a first grader at St. James Lutheran Church in Rockwell (Scout Master -Michael Kelsh) and crossed over to become a Boy Scout which he completed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Salisbury (Scoutmaster – Harold Driver).

Trey organized and lead his Eagle Scout Project refurbishing bleachers at Rockwell Elementary School for East Rowan Diamond Sports Baseball. He played for this league for approximately eight years.
