SALISBURY — State Rep. Billy Richardson of Fayetteville will speak to Rowan County Democrats on Saturday.

Richardson, a Democrat who represents the 44th District, will speak to local Democrats at 10 a.m. Doors will open at 9:15 a.m., and breakfast starts at 9:30 a.m.

The meeting is open to the public. The breakfast is free, but the party is asking for a $10 donation to help with the cost of breakfast and to raise money for the party.

Richardson, who has served more than three terms in the N.C. House, is an attorney. On Saturday, he will discuss the current legislative session and answer questions about what’s going on in Raleigh.
