Tsunami Development Literacy Program will conduct volunteer training from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Preregistration is required by phoning 704-433-2306 no later than Sunday.

The first literacy sessions for children in grades three, four and five in Rowan-Salisbury schools will be from 4:45 to 7 p.m. Oct. 17 at West End Plaza, Suite 3-C.
