SALISBURY — Professional artist Robert Toth is offering a “Mind Aerobics Art Class” from 2 to 4 p.m. Mondays at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, 1120 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.

The class includes an introduction to mass drawing, pastels and sculpture.

“Explore the novelty that keeps the brain alive through the inspiration that art can give you,” Toth said.

He said he believes an artist is a teacher, whether in a classroom or through images created to stimulate the imagination through thought-provoking ideas.

“The reason is to develop the creative right side of the brain sensitivity for total cognition,” Toth said.

The cost of the class is $10 per two hours.
