This letter is in regard to Mook’s Place/Mark Brincefield’s cartoon in the Aug. 27 Salisbury Post.  I believe that the cartoon was exaggerated to the extreme.

First of all, I have known Karen Alexander for many years and she is a very intelligent, kind and caring woman. Second, I saw the City Council meeting that the cartoon is referring too and it was not ever close to the artist’s drawing.

People in Salisbury need to wake up and realize that we have a great mayor who is trying her best to make things in Salisbury better. As long as there are people around that make things look much worse than they really are and people out there who believe them, we are all in for a rude awakening.

Mayor Karen Alexander, you definitely have my vote again.
