Rowan weather: Rain in the future

After Wednesday, it looks like the rest of the week could be rather damp.

Overnight rain has kept temperatures down and the humidity up, and we still have a 30 percent chance of rain before noon, along with patchy fog before 10 a.m.

Otherwise, it will be cloudy and 76, with north wind at 11-13 mph, gusting to 20 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy and 60, with patchy fog forming after midnight. North northeast wind will be around 5 mph, then calm.

Fog will linger through about 9 a.m. Wednesday, then it will become partly sunny and 82. Winds will shift to the southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Then another 30 percent chance of showers comes in after 3 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 66. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is predicted.

Thursday brings a 40 percent chance of showers, and will be mostly cloudy and 80. Calm wind will become southwest in the afternoon, around 5 mph.

Thursday night also has a 40 percent chance of showers, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 65.

Friday has a 60 percent chance of showers, starting in the morning. It will be mostly cloudy and 78.

Saturday’s 40 percent chance of showers will mainly be after 11 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 76. The chance of showers goes up to 50 percent Saturday night, which will be mostly cloudy with a low of 65.

Sunday will be partly sunny and 82, with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Same chance of rain Sunday night, with a low of 66.

Labor Day will be partly sunny and warm, with a high of 84.
