SALISBURY — The Salisbury Police Department is looking for Michael Lynn Beck, 31, of 107 10th St., Spencer, in connection with a  hit-and-run accident.

Beck was involved in a head-on collision in the 1600 block of North Long and Kenly streets on Aug. 15 in which several people were injured.

Beck is the owner of a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that struck a 2000 Ford Expedition head on. Five people in the Expedition were injured, including a toddler, who was seriously injured. Beck was a passenger in the pickup.

Police say Beck was not cooperative and told officers that he knew only the first name of the man who was driving his vehicle. Beck was not injured.

Outstanding arrest warrants are for resisting, obstructing and delaying an officer; driving while license revoked; driving left of center; failure to yield; no insurance; and driving without displaying a registration.

Anyone with information on the location of Beck is asked to contact Salisbury police at 704-638-5333 or CrimeStoppers at 866-639-5245. Tips may be submitted online at http://tips.salisburyrowancrimestoppers.org/.
