SALISBURY — Livingstone College will hold two events Monday to connect the campus to the Great American solar eclipse.

From 1:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., the NSF Support Program will host a solar eclipse event in front of the Walls Center, featuring complimentary drinks and snacks. Eclipse glasses will be provided by the program and Dr. Darryl Baynes, president and founder of Interactive Science Programs. There will also be a sun spotter on site, provided by Baynes, that will allow viewers to see the eclipse without the special glasses.

Beginning at noon, a live streaming of the solar eclipse will begin in Varick Auditorium. This event is ideal for those who don’t have the special viewing glasses.
