Rick and Crystal Kirkman of Salisbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Kirkman, to Chris Moore, both of Salisbury.

Amanda is the granddaughter of Jack Brown and the late Valerie Brown of Salisbury and Mary Kirkman and the late Clyde Kirkman of China Grove. A 2011 graduate of Carson High School, Amanda graduated with a license in Esthetics from Rowan Cabarrus Community College in 2015. She is currently employed with Rowan Animal Clinic.

Chris is the son of Mike and Barbie Moore of Salisbury and the grandson of Woody and Sandra Moore of Rockwell and Nancy Swicegood and the late Carl Swicegood of Salisbury. Chris is a 2011 graduate of East Rowan High School and also attended Catawba College. Chris is currently the owner and operator of All-Scape Lawns Landscaping and More.

The wedding is October 21, 2017 at Gray Stone Pines Venue in Rockwell.
