Rowan Little League Softball team gives back

Rowan had the day off from playing, so the team volunteered to help the kids in the Challenge game. Rowan returns to play today at noon, against the Czech Republic.
Rowan did not have a game scheduled on Saturday, so the team volunteered for service at the Challenge exhibition game at the Little League Softball World Series on Saturday in Portland, Ore.
The team was also chosen to sing the national anthem as a group at home plate before the Challenger game.
Rowan returns to action today at noon, against the team from Europe — the Czech Republic. Rowan is 3-0 in pool play for the World Series.
