Changes will be made to the interchange at N.C. 152 and U.S. 29 starting Saturday.

The contractor will be opening the access ramp to northbound I-85 from Westbound N.C. 152 on Saturday, Aug. 5.

The contractor will open the access ramp to northbound I-85 from Eastbound N.C. 152 on Monday, Aug. 7.

On Aug. 12, the contractor will permanently close the northbound U.S. 29 connector and implement a temporary traffic configuration at the N.C. 152 and U.S. 29 interchange.

As a result, the existing N.C. 152 westbound ramp and eastbound loop access to northbound U.S. 29/I-85 will close. In addition, the ramp to East N.C. 152 from U.S. 29 will close. The traveling public may access I-85 northbound from the new ramp located at the I-85/N.C. 152 interchange.

The contractor will permanently close the U.S. 29 connector to I-85 northbound upon completion of the reconfiguration. The traveling public can access both east and westbound N.C. 152 via the loop shown below.
