“Rooted in the love of Christ, we grow in Grace and joyfully branch into a broken world.”

Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church had 16 disciples spread the love of God while on a mission trip the week of July 2-7.

The mission team served the local Appalachian communities of Hayesville, North Carolina.

We worked alongside Hinton Center’s counselors and other churches. They not only worked on construction, but also building relationships with local communities.

Serving gave each of us a deeper understanding of the Appalachian culture and poverty, as well as growing in Christ.
