Letter: Apology for using wrong word
I would like to apologize for my using the word “half-wit” in my letter in Sunday’s Post (“Sick of Russia and Trump bashers”).
It’s a word I grew up hearing from my father, and after rereading my letter, I am shocked and embarrassed by my insensitivity.

Sometimes in my enthusiasm to make a point, I often go over the top A good lesson has been learned, and I will be more contained in the future.
