Castor 60th Anniversary

Adolphus Castor and Patsy Castor of China Grove celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary July 5, 2017. A cook-out, culminating with fireworks and sparklers, was held on July 1, 2017, at the home of their daughter, Tammy, in Gold Hill. All of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren attended.

Th Castors were united in marriage July 5, 1957 at Scott Air Force Base, Scott AFB, Ill. Adolphus retired from Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast after 35 years of employment. Patsy is a wife, mother and homemaker.

The couple have three daughters, Tammy Jones and husband Mike of Gold Hill, Pattie Allmond of Salisbury and Julie Beaver and husband Mark of China Grove. Their six grandchildren are Jon Beaver and wife Stephanie; Cameron Beaver and wife Carrie; Calvin, Rebekah and Andrew Jones; and Kaitlyn Allmond. They also have four great-grandchildren.
