The Rev. Stacey Lundy has begun her work as the new associate pastor for First United Methodist Church of Salisbury. Most recently, Rev. Lundy served as the pastor at Glendale Heights UMC in Durham while earning her master of divinity at Duke Divinity School.

Before starting at Duke, she earned a bachelor of science at UNC Greensboro, taught high school biology for two years, and then earned a master’s degree in biology from Wake Forest University. Rev. Lundy and her husband, Kevin, are excited to make a home in Salisbury. She will be formally introduced to the congregation Sunday at both the 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services, with a welcome reception in the fellowship hall.

Originally from High Point, Rev. Lundy holds degrees from UNC-Greensboro, Wake Forest University and Duke Divinity School.
