Letter: Who can make something happen in Rowan?

Some people like the smell of a flea market early in the morning. Other people like to stay in bed.

Some people read the paper. Other people just smell it.

Some people save seeds. Other people save string too short to save.

Some people think. Other people might not be thinking when they think they are thinking.

Some people don’t have any trouble sleeping. Other people need to post sarcastic comments to help themselves sleep better.

Some people do what they talk about doing. Other people talk about doing what they talk about.

Some people want to G.R.O.W. (Get Rid of Wrongs). Other people stay quiet about W.O.R.K.S. (Witless Old Rowan Keeps Smoking).

Some counties make things happen. Other counties watch things happen.

Rowan County keeps wondering, “What happened?”
