The next Stop the Violence Summit will be held Saturday, July 15, at Hood Theological Seminary.
The summit began in March in response to continued gun violence and deaths in the city of Salisbury. Stop the Violence is an opportunity for city, county, school, clergy and others with concern to come together.
During the upcoming meeting, members will have an opportunity to gather with their committees and finalize plans for a report to the community, which will be released Aug. 19. Those who have not signed up with a committee will be able to do so at the July 15 meeting.
The summit will run from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Email Al Heggins at alheggins@humanpraxisinstitute.com to register.
