On behalf of the Shoaf family, my brother Tim and I would like to thank Katherine Jordan for her wonderful letter to the editor acknowledging the Walt Shoaf generational haircut tradition cherished by many Salisbury families.

Dad considered it an honor and his pleasure to serve Salisbury’s finest, generation after generation. His customers were truly his friends.

We would like to thank Mr. Ronnie Smith for his wonderful tribute to our father. We would also like to thank Mr. Smith and his wife, Janis, for the memoriam donation on behalf of our father for the Salisbury High School Gym Enhancement Project. Another example of Salisbury’s finest!
