Taylor Loyd, Miss Rowan County’s Outstanding Teen, is competing in the Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen competition this week. Loyd’s talent is singing, and she was the preliminary talent award winner on the first night of competition Wednesday.

Loyd is competing in Raleigh to earn the title of Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen. The competition is in affiliation with the Miss North Carolina Pageant, which is also underway this week in Raleigh.

Loyd, 15, is the daughter of Cinnamon and Ashton Loyd of Mooresville.
