• Rainbow Tea, 3 p.m. Saturday, Pastor’s Aid Ministry of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 2865 Enon Church Road. Open to the public. The Rev. Jerry Miller is host pastor.
• Winston-Salem State University National Alumni, Salisbury-Rowan Chapter, 3 p.m. Sunday, Noble and Kelsey’s Funeral Home.
• Farewell lunch for Frank and Mary Gordon, co-pastors at The Arbor United Methodist Church, 5545 Woodleaf Road, July 2 after the worship service, their last service date at the church. The Gordons are retiring and moving to Lenoir. The new pastor is the Rev. Craig Sefa.
