WINSTON-SALEM – Bookmarks is proud to present New York Times bestselling author Jane Green on Thursday, June 8, as she begins her tour for her new novel, “The Sunshine Sisters.”
Green will visit two locations in the Triad on June 8: the Reynolda Manor Branch Library in Winston Salem at 12:30 p.m. and the High Point Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Both events will feature a reading and presentation with Green, and a booksigning will follow.
Bookmarks will be on-site selling copies of “The Sunshine Sisters” and other Jane Green titles. Both events are free and open to the public.
Green is the author of 17 New York Times bestsellers including “Falling,” “The Beach House,” “Second Chance,” “Jemima J” and “Tempting Fate.”
A former journalist in the UK, she has worked as a television correspondent for ABC and a radio correspondent for BBC Radio London. She contributes regularly to various print, radio and television publications, including The Huffington Post, The Sunday Times, Cosmopolitan, Self, “Good Morning America,” “The Martha Stewart Show” and “The Today Show” and she maintains a weekly column in The Lady magazine.
With their compulsively readable plotlines, sharp senses of humor and casts of flawed but relatable characters, Jane Green’s novels epitomize the “summer read.”
People magazine has called Green “the queen of the beach books,” and fellow author Emma Straub declares her “the undisputed queen of the beach read.” Green’s reign continues with the publication of “The Sunshine Sisters.”
Registration for the 12:30 p.m. reading and signing event at Reynolda Manor Branch Library is encouraged.
