UPDATE Rowan weather: Code Orange air day

UPDATE: The ozone forecast has been upgraded to Code Orange for today in the Charlotte area. Cloud cover appears to be less than what was expected yesterday. Winds are also expected to be light or calm today.
Code Orange ozone corresponds to air quality that is unhealthy for sensitive groups. All children and active adults, and people with respiratory disease, such as asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion in the afternoon and early evening.
Saturday and Sunday expected to be Code Yellow, moderate air quality. Air quality is will affect unusually sensitive people.
The code may be upgraded over the weekend.
It should be a quiet and warm weekend.
Today will be sunny with a high of 84 and light and variable wind. Tonight will mostly clear with a low of 62.
Saturday will be sunny and warm, with a high of 85. North northeast wind will blow at 3-6 mph. The low Saturday night will be 62, with partly cloudy skies.
Sunday has a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3 p.m. It will be mostly sunny and 85, with calm wind becoming south southwest at 5-9 mph. The same chance of rain continues Sunday night, with a low of 66.
