Rowan weather: Humidity on the rise

Today, the humidity is going to make the high of 87 feel more uncomfortable. We’ll have south southwest wind at 7-10 mph under mostly sunny skies.

Tonight’s low will be 65, with partly cloudy conditions and south southwest wind at 5-7 mph.

Friday brings a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3 p.m. It will be partly sunny and 86, with south southwest wind at 5-7 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, except higher in thunderstorms.

The same chance of rain hangs around Friday night, mainly before 9 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy with a low of 65. Another tenth of an inch of rain is possible.

And Saturday has a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, too. It will be partly sunny and 83. Calm wind will become east northeast at 5-7 mph in the afternoon.

That 30 percent chance of showers and storms is possible Saturday night, too, throughout the night. The low will be 64.

Sunday has the same chance of rain, with partly sunny skies and a high near 80.

The rain chance increases to 60 percent Sunday night. The low will be 65, with showers and thunderstorms likely.

Monday’s chance of storms and showers is also 60 percent. Mostly cloudy skies will lead to a high of 78. The chance of showers drops to 30 percent Monday night, with a low of 60.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and 77, with a low of 60.

Then a 40 percent chance of showers arrives Wednesday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 77.
