It’s going to be a hot one today, getting us ready for some bumpy weather Friday.
Today will be mostly sunny and 86, with west wind at 5-9 mph in the morning. Tonight brings a 20 percent chance of showers and a low of 61. West southwest wind around 5 mph will calm in the evening.
Friday has a 50 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms possible after 3 p.m. Some of these storms could be strong to severe. It will be mostly cloudy and 70, with east northeast wind at 5-8 mph. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible, except higher in thunderstorms.
Friday night’s chance of showers and thunderstorms is 70 percent. It will be cloudy with a low of 58 and east northeast wind at 5-9 mph. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.
Saturday starts out with a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 3 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy with a high of 71 and winds north northwest at 5-7 mph in the afternoon. Saturday night will be partly cloudy and 51.
Sunday looks to be sunny and 78, with a low of 57.
Monday will be sunny and 83, with a low of 59.
Tuesday will be sunny and 84, with a low of 62.
And Wednesday will be mostly sunny and hot again, with a high of 86.
