Police Blotter: Drug paraphernalia seized on Dial Street in Kannapolis

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • Drug paraphernalia was seized Friday in the 1000 block of Dial Street, Kannapolis.
  • A woman reported Friday that someone stole a car-hauling trailer from Litaker’s Garage on Julian Road.
  • Three marijuana roaches were found on an Erwin Middle School student Friday.
  • A man reported Friday that a pickup was stolen in the 3600 block of U.S. 601.
  • A woman reported fraud by false pretense Friday in the 200 block of Mountain View Road.
  • A man reported a larceny Saturday in the 1200 block of Grateful Drive, Woodleaf.
  • A man reported a burglary Saturday in the 200 block of Swink Avenue.
  • A man reported a stolen firearm Saturday in the 300 block of South Fisherman’s Lane.
  • A man reported a larceny Sunday in the 300 block of Leach Road.
  • Joshua Timothy Smith, 31, was charged Friday with possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1000 block of Dial Street, Kannapolis
  • Joseph Tyrone Womack, 33, was charged Friday in the 200 block of North Main Street with possession of controlled substance.
  • Jesse Hunter Whaley, 23, was charged with larceny Friday.
  • Cherie Nicole Carr, 24, was charged Saturday in the 1000 block of Walton Place with a school attendance law violation.
  • Charles Michael Swinson, 31, was charged with violating a domestic violence protective order Saturday in the 100 block of Misty Lane, Rockwell.
  • Dakota Hunter Mckinnon, 20, was charged Saturday with assault with a deadly weapon in the 69200 block of Interstate 85 North.

In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • Someone was charged in court Monday with filing a false police report.
  • Rolling Hills Apartments reported a burglary Monday.
  • A woman reported a vehicle breaking and entering in the 100 block of East Council Street on Monday.
  • Mortgage Contracting Services reported a breaking and entering Monday.
  • A woman reported Monday that items were stolen from her vehicle that was parked at 700 W. Jake Alexander Blvd. and that her credit cards were used.
  • A man reported a physical assault in the 300 block of Mahaley Avenue on Tuesday.
  • Jeanisha Mariah Vaughn, 26, was charged Monday with making a false report to a police radio broadcasting station.
  • Terrence Jermaine Williams, 30, was charged Monday with resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer.
  • Jordan Thomas Scarborough, 19, was charged Tuesday with assault on a female in the 1100 block of Sidney Drive.
