Catawba College singers present beautiful music
On Sunday, April 30 we attended the “Our Song4” concert at Omwake-Dearborn Chapel given by three groups of students at Catawba College. We thoroughly enjoyed these talented singers, some of whom graduate this year, and the beautiful music they chose to sing for us.
They were led by Dr. Phillip Burgess and we also compliment him on his teaching with this group. It was a really beautiful performance and we hope to hear more from them in the future.

Uber tracking customers?
If you believe in the ‘’right’’ to privacy you shouldn’t use the ride-sharing service Uber. It was recently revealed that Uber wants to be able to track you even when you aren’t using their app, and now it appears that they want to track former customers even after they delete the app.
Uber says that it is using device fingerprinting to detect fraud. I don’t think that any corporation should have the right to track your movements. I think that Congress should pass a law that bans corporations from tracking people without their consent.
