Prep soccer: Seniors lead Salisbury victory

Salisbury honored Juliana Anderson, Nellie Brown, Katie Bullock and Ceci Cardelle on Senior Night and beat Thomasville, 8-1.
The four seniors have compiled a 63-12-4 overall record to date. They have contributed to 50 shutouts in 79 matches.
The Hornets (13-1-1, 6-0 CCC) got three goals from Ceci Cardelle. Bullock scored twice. Brown converted a PK for her third goal of the season.
Anna Grace Woolly and Julia Honeycutt finished the scoring for Salisbury.
Assists were logged by Bullock (2), Honeycutt, Woolly, Lila Harry and Caroline Colwell.
Salisbury plans to play East Davidson at 4:30 today because of weather concerns and at Lexington at 5 p.m. on Friday.
