Rowan weather: Dense fog advisory

The area is under a dense fog advisory this morning until 10 a.m. It will make for slow going this morning.

Today’s 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms will be mainly after 4 p.m. Along with the fog, we’ll have clouds for a while, with gradual clearing. The high will be 81, with southwest winds around 5-7 mph.

Isolated showers and storms are possible tonight, with a 20 percent chance of rain. The low will be 62 with southwest wind at 3-6 mph.

Friday has a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, starting around 11 a.m. It will be mostly sunny and quite warm, with a high of 84 and west southwest winds at 5-7 mph. The same chance of rain hangs around Friday night with a low of 62. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.

Saturday has a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, too, starting as early as 9 a.m. It will be partly sunny and 80 with calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday night has a 60 percent chance of showers and storms, with a low of 60.

Sunday’s chance or rain is 80 percent, with a high of 82. For Sunday night, the chance is 60 percent, with a low of 51.

Monday will be partly sunny and cooler, with a high of 67 and a low of 50.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and 70, with a low of 51.

And Wednesday should be mostly sunny, too, with a high of 76.
