East Rowan High School will present “Age of Aquarius,” an original script, on April 28 and 29 at 7 p.m. each evening. It will be held in the ERHS auditorium, 175 St. Lukes Church Road.

The musical follows three high school students, Guy (Ethan Diaz), Rick (Alex Gobbel) and Donna (Emily Avalos). Guy and Rick are in “love” with Donna and try to convince her to choose one of them. These three main characters, and others, are in rehearsal for their school’s musical.

You’ll have to attend to find out who she chooses. The original script was written by director Dean Orbison and choreographed by Laura Troutman, and uses all music from the 1960s. Love those 60s tunes? “Stop! In the Name of Love,” “In the Year 2525,” “Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine In,” “Proud Mary” and many more? Then you’ll love this evening of fun.

Tickets can be purchased at the school from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on April 24-27. Limited seating. Tickets may be also be available at the door while supplies last. Call 704- 279-5232 for details.
