Kannapolis to host fair housing forum

KANNAPOLIS – The city of Kannapolis will host a free fair-housing forum for future homeowners Thursday.

The forum will be hosted by Kannapolis, the city of Concord, Cabarrus County and Prosperity Unlimited. Phil Jordan of the N.C. Human Relations Commission will lead a discussion about fair-housing laws. Louise Mack with Prosperity Unlimited will provide information on homeownership.

Refreshments will be served.

The forum will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Laureate Center in Kannapolis City Hall, 401 Laureate Way.
