The Rowan County Democratic Party will hold its annual convention at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Democrats will elect a party chairman, vice chairmen, secretary and treasurer. The convention also will feature reports from current Chairman Geoffrey Hoy and the executive committee, the summit on violence, Salisbury Indivisible, Congress and the N.C. General Assembly.

The convention will be at 1504 W. Innes St., the party’s headquarters.

Breakfast will be served starting at 9:15 a.m.

The party is asking for a $10 donation to help with convention costs and other matters.
