SNOW HILL — Virginia Union nipped Chowan by one stroke to win the two-day CIAA Northern Division Tournament at Cutter Creek Golf Club.

Virginia Union shot a 611 (300-311) while Chowan came in at 612 (305-307).

Livingstone took third place at 630 (314-316), comfortably ahead of Fayetteville State at 637.

The field was rounded out by Elizabeth City State (652), Virginia State (686), J.C. Smith (690) and St. Augustine’s (839).
