Senior all-star games are set for North on Saturday, March 25

The Rowan County senior All-Star basketball games will be held at   North Rowan on Saturday, March 25.

Admission is $5.

Schedule

3:30 — Hendo’s Hope Heart Fair and fundraiser

4 p.m. — 3-point contest semifinals

4:30 p.m. — Slam dunk contest semifinals

5 p.m. — Girls All-Star Game

6:30 p.m. — 3-point contest finals

7 p.m. — Slam dunk finals

7:30 p.m. — Boys All-Star game

Players who have signed up for the boys all-star gme include Salisbury’s Will Leckonby, Tre Oats, Zae Harris, Shaliek Williams Cameron Horne and Byron Goodlett and JaylenMcClendon; North Rowan’s Henderson Lentz, Joe Scott, Nakis Miller, Daylynn Cuthbertson, Joe Harrison, Alonzo Sirleaf and Malon Heron-Cuthbertson; Carson’s Brenden Westbrook and Blake Daniels, and West Rowan’s Kortez Weeks, Paris Hillie, Jayson Delgado and Armoni Hogue.

Players who have signed up for the girls all-star game are North’s Tajah Oglesby, Navi Joyner, Aundrea Godfrey, Kiara Davis, Hope Evans and Brianna White;  Salisbury’s Tyzarea Alexander, and West Rowan’s Miyanah Pruitt.

Several alumni players also will be on hand including  former Livingstone star Cierra York; former Salisbury and N.C. State star Shayla Fields, the all-time scoring leader in Rowan County, and Mars Hill’s Aliyah Farmer, a North Rowan graduate who recently made the SAC All-Freshman team.
