Shive Elementary

The following students were named Good Citizens at Shive Elementary:

Catawba Employee Honored

Catawba College’s assistant athletic trainer Brandon Auton was honored with the College and University Athletic Trainer of the Year Award during the N.C. Athletic Trainers’ Association’s 40th Spring Symposium and Awards Luncheon held March 18 and 19 at UNC Charlotte.

Auton, who joined Catawba in 2011, earned his bachelor of science degree in athletic training from Western Carolina University and his master of education degree in education administration from the University of Nebraska.

Wofford College
Madeline Labovitz, of Salisbury, was named to the fall Wofford College Dean’s List. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled for at least 12 semester hours of graded courses and attain a semester grade point average of 3.6 or higher.
