Did you ever dream of publishing your life story? Maybe writing your first novel or a non-fiction guide to one of your particular interests? The Rowan County Public Library continues another season of the award-winning Learn. Act. Grow. series on Monday, March 27. The “Share That Story Workshop” will be hosted by the South Rowan Regional Library at 920 Kimball Road, China Grove, from 5:30-7 p.m.
Come join young adult fiction author Jenny Hubbard, adult fiction author Doug Creamer and nonfiction adventure author David Freeze as they share experiences, their lessons learned and give tips on how to proceed if you have the urge to tell your own story. Attendees will learn how to take your thoughts from drafting to publication.
The Learn. Act. Grow. series has been honored by the North Carolina Public Library Directors Association and is offered as a free program, open to anyone. Attendees under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Although the program is free, please register at www.rowanpubliclibrary.org and clicking on the Learn.Act.Grow. icon or by calling 704-216-7734.
