Literacy Council to hold tutor training workshop

SALISBURY — The Rowan County Literacy Council will hold a two-session tutor training workshop on Tuesday, March 21, and Thursday, March 23, at the Rowan Public Library.

The training sessions will take place from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The registration fee is $25 and covers the cost of materials.

To be certified as a tutor, participants must attend both sessions.

Reservations to attend this training may be made by signing up on the Literacy Council website at www.rcliteracy.org, emailing info@rcliteracy.org, or calling the agency at 704-216-8266. Reservations should be made by Friday.

People unable to attend the workshop may take online training. Contact the Literacy Council for more information.
